"When I started out with them they were great! I started my commercial auto account with them a little over a year ago. I had policies with them before this and they did great. In the last year I’m not really sure what has happened but the customer service went way down. The price went way up. It was hard to get things done plus they don’t respond with answers that make any sense. All I can really say is that in the commercial side I recommend you find a different Statefarm location to do business. It’s been 7 months and I still stand by this. I have yet to reach out to them but nothing would change. Good luck to everyone that uses them."

"I have been doing business since April 2016, with Kristin Dowdy, agent of State Farm. She made me feel welcomed from day one. There is an anecdote that is being told among residents in our relatively small town of Shallotte. I am not sure if Kristin is aware of it. Around March of 2016, I was at a local Fire Station when I heard one of the firefighters making fun of a co-worker, because he went to State Farm only to get his car insured and he came out of there with Car, Home & Life insurance, supposedly because Kristin Dowdy's beauty hypnotized him. LOL. Well, fast forward a couple of weeks and this time; I went in there and coincidentally or not, I got Car, Home and Life insurance too. (Not necessarily all at once that day). Grin! Any time I had to go to her office for any diligence related to our insurance account (of course); My wife jokingly said, "Are you going to see your girlfriend?" in reference to Kristin. LOL So, you have been warned. If/when you go there, please say hi to "my girlfriend"; yeah right!! Last, but not least; In all seriousness, I want to highlight that her staff is friendly and professional. They will make you feel comfortable while being able to help you with your needs for car, home, and/or life insurance. I am not sure if they offer pet insurance. But if they do, I should also add our lovely cat Coco to the policy. Update Feb 13, 2025 I visited the office today. I am thankful for Tenesha and her patience when it comes to taking extra time to go above and beyond to review my accounts and to answer my questions. Thank you Tenesha."
